Field Type And Games

Combat Zone Paintball Park is the first one on our list because of its great fields/maps. They have multiple differently themed fields which also includes a fully turfed speedball field. They have kept their fields up-to-date and very well-maintained and each field is loaded with a great variety of obstacles and hiding structures including; bunkers, big tires, containers, shape walls, sand bags, small forts, and more.

The games they offer are also action-based and challenging, e.g; capture the flag, elimination, team deathmatch, etc. The good news is that they also offer “Airsoft” games. However, they do not have rental equipment for airsoft so make sure you bring your own equipment.

Staff And Referees

As we know that, it’s important to be aware of the staff members and referees on paintball fields because they play a significant part in the sport.

The staff at this facility is absolutely professional and knowledgeable. They also have well-trained and helpful referees who know their job and are always accommodating.

Rental Equipment

Don’t worry if you don’t have your own equipment, the facility has every kind of rental equipment available. The rentals are of excellent quality and condition, and the costs are also rather affordable.

Combat 2

Note: It is important to note that they do not allow you to bring your own paints because they are a “field paint only” park.

Private Events And Parties

At this paintball park, you can host several events and parties as well. They may include birthday parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, team building activities, church groups, and family reunions.

You can also make a reservation for your group to play private paintball games. It will only include you and your group and you will play against each other. There will be no outsiders allowed at your spot.

For standard paintball, they have a basic package for a group of 4 players that is for $169. It includes all the necessary rental equipment and 500 paintballs for each player.

Age Limit

The age requirement for playing standard paintball at this facility is 10 Years and older. That too with a waiver signed by a parent or a guardian for those under the age of 18. This waiver is all for safety reasons.

Low Impact Paintball

If you are someone looking for a type of paintball that doesn’t hurt and has the lowest impact, this is for you.

This Paintball Park offers low impact paintball, especially for the younger ones ages 10 years and up.

Low impact paintball is just like a regular paintball game but it is played using different types of guns and ammo. It involves the use of smaller and slower paintballs, with a lower velocity than a regular paintball. It has almost half the impact of standard paintball which makes it good enough for the younger kids.

Gellyball

Combat Zone Paintball also offers Gel Blaster Parties (Gellyball), which is designed especially for the younger kids. This game involves the use of a gel blaster (a gun) to shoot small water based gel balls that have no Impact at all which makes it the best choice for the younger ones. The age requirement for playing this game is 5 years and older.

Group reservation is needed for gellyball. A package for a group of 10 players is for $290 which includes equipment and 1500 gel balls per player.

Field Type And Games

Las Vegas Premier Paintball Park is another popular paintball facility in Nevada. They have Four large playing fields which include speedball, airball, and scenario fields.

According to our point of view, the fields are designed very well but they need some management and improvement because they are not clean most of the time. However, the courses are great and you can play a variety of action-based game modes here.

Staff And Referees

The staff members and referees at this paintball park are  knowledgeable and nice but most of them aren’t professional at all. They need to improve their staff.

Rental Equipment

They have all the rental equipment available onsite and the quality is top-notch. Additionally, the prices are also fairly reasonable.

Note: It is important to note that you can not bring your own paintballs at Action Town Park because they are a “field paint only” park.

Private Events And Parties

You can host different events and parties at this paintball park including birthday parties, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, church groups, family reunions, team building events, and private group paintball games.

Its upto you which kind of activity you select for your private party.

Age Limit

The age requirement for playing standard paintball at this facility is 10 Years and older. That too with a waiver signed by a parent or a guardian for those under the age of 18. This waiver is all for safety reasons.

Low Impact Paintball

This paintball park also offers low impact paintball for the kids ages 8 to 12 years. However, adults and beginner teens can also play low impact if they want to.

Kids Splat With JT SplatMaster

Another great activity is the “kids splat”. It is also the same game as paintball but it uses lightweight, non toxic, colour filled paintballs that doesn’t hurt. The age requirement for kids-splat is 8 years and older.

One can play it as a walk-on player individually or in a private group as well. Their basic package for a private group of 10 players is for $300. The package includes all the necessary rental equipment, 200 paintballs per player, private referee, field access, and 8 games playtime.

The age requirement for playing bazooka ball at this facility is 6 to 10 years old.

It also requires advance reservation. The prices are also reasonable, i.e; $200 or $250 for a group of 10 players.

This paintball field has a large area with several well-designed fields. According to some of the players, they enjoyed their time at this facility and they loved the different layouts of the fields and the game modes they played. They were also satisfied with the prices as they were quite reasonable.

Some players, however, faced inconveniences regarding different matters that led to an unpleasant and bad experience. Most of them complained about referees and rental equipment. According to them, the referees weren’t professional for their job and the rentals, especially paintball guns, didn’t work properly.

Our Verdict

This paintball field is great for professionals and seasonal players but it is just the best for the kids because they have so many options for all age groups. It is best for you if you are interested in playing different games all day long other than just playing paintball. They have nice restrooms, shaded staging areas, picnic tables, and also a pro shop where you can have food and drinks as well.

However, they should work on their management and referees so that people don’t face inconveniences regarding it.

We will rate this paintball park 8.6 out of 10 stars.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. I want to play paintball, is it okay if I bring my own food and drinks?

You certainly can! In addition to offering food and beverages on-site, the majority of paintball fields let you bring your own food if you’d like. In contrast, there might be some restrictions in other paintball fields.

Q. Is it possible to hold my child’s birthday party at a paintball arena?

Indeed, you can. If you visit most fields as a group, you’ll typically receive nicer presents. To ensure that you may enjoy yourself with your friends and family alone, they will provide you with a private area with everything including your own referee. You can enjoy yourselves and bring food with you!

Q. What should we not do while playing paintball?

Every field may have their own set of rules and regulations. But some major “don’ts” in paintball are; do not take off your goggles or eye/face mask during the game, do not shoot anyone who’s closer than 3 metres, do not disobey the safety rules guided by the referees.

Q. Is it possible to wear glasses rather than a paintball mask?

No, a full-face mask is necessary for safety concerns in order to protect the eyes and face.

Conclusion

We have just highlighted the top two paintball parks in Nevada because there aren’t many of them there. Both these parks offer well-designed fields, action-based courses/games, topnotch rental equipment, and great services. They both are suitable for families and the best ones for kids of all ages.
